Rehearsal Dinner Locations

Hi All!

I am looking for a restaurant for our rehearsal dinner near/around our church in Merrick for a Thursday night for 40 people. All suggestions would be appreciated!

I am from Merrick also and we are having ours at the Wantagh Inn (right across from the RR station in Wantagh). They have two rooms, one for a smaller party and one for a larger party. The prices are really good per person since they include tax and gratuity and you get your own room with a bar and bathroom (i think).

Ddunne - Thank you for the suggestion. I was thinking of the Wantagh Inn - but we just got an invitation for my FH's cousins baby's chiristenting that is being held there. I didn't want to have two family gatherings within 3 months at the same place. That would have been perfect!

You can try Guy Anthony's in Merrick.. (jerusalem avenue) my future bil owns it.. being that there are 40 of you in your party you may be able to haev the place all to yourself! They do private parties there all the time..

give him a call, and you can tell him that Marcella Monroy (his brother todd's fiance) referred you!! I hope he can help you doll!! the food is great there! and the place is really pretty..

My rehearsal dinner will be at Otto's in Freeport on the Nautical Mile. It would be a very short distance away for you and a lot of fun for any out-of-towners. They have a private room.

Another option on Nautical Mile is Splash Cafe, which also has a private room.

TRY CASA DI PASTA ON MERRICK ROAD IN MERRICK. MY SIL HAD HER'S THERE. THEY GIVE YOU THE BACK ROOM , THE FOOD IS GREAT(NICE SIZE SERVINGS TOO) AND REASONABLY PRICED. SHE HAD ABOUT 35-40 PEOPLE I BELIEVE. SHE GOT MARRIED AT ST. BARNABAS SO THE LOCATION WAS PEFERCT. HOPE THIS HELPS

HI AGAIN .. JUST READ THE POST ABOUT GUY ANTHONY'S. WE LOVE THAT PLACE!!! EXCELLENT FOOD WE EAT THERE EVERY WEEKEND-EITHER TAKE OUT OR EAT IN. THAT'S A GREAT CHOICE TOO

We are getting married in Bellmore and booked Nick Diangelo for RD. We have eaten there a few times and it is great!

My uncle owns Nick D's!!!

FH proposed there!! and their food is AMAZING!!! and if you go, be sure to order the brownies!! YUM!!
