We have 3 places in Howard Beach: Lenny's Clam Bar, Bruno's and Matteo's. We don't have it in the budget to do one on premises, so we're doing it catered at home.
My mom suggested Lenny's Clam Bar. What they charge per person isn't bad at all. I looked online and their private room is pretty. My only issue with the place is how old and 70ish it looks outside, but I'm going to check it out this week and decide.
I live Howard Beach also..Don't let the look deter you. They have really good Italian food! It looks old because it is..they have been in business well over 20 years lol
Lenny's Clam Bar is great! We have family in HB and have had many partys there. Vetro is great to & Matteos has been there a long time also. I always rave about Trattoria Lucia in Bellerose and Bella Lena in Ridgewood. There is a great bar/restaurant in Glendale called Edison Place too :)
What about Portofino in Forest Hills? We are doing ours there!
