I had mine at Piccola Bussola in Huntington...not too far from Deer Park. DH's family live in Dix Hills on the border, and it wasn't too bad. Our church was in Greenlawn though so it was closer to the church than home. But still not bad, and it was a great RD!

ludlow bistro... i haven't been there personally but I've heard AMAZING things about them, and a bunch of my students parents have been there and RAVE about the place.

We wanted to do our engagement dinner there, but then decided to have a party at a hall.

they're right on DPA.

also, there's papa joes on commack road and bellisimos on grand blvd.

I've been to Ludlow Bistro, and it's pretty good. We went there when it first opened and it was ok then, but I think they got better, because we got take out from them on NYE this year and it was excellent.
