Has anyone eaten at Sergio's in Massapequa? On their website, they have a package that has bread, salad, an appetizer, an entree and some cookies / coffee for $18.95pp. An extra $6pp for beer and wine.

Super cheap!! No cutting fee to bring your own cake either!

that price includes everything for Hemingway's, which I am upset about because I always thought my RD would be there....NOT for that price though!!! NO WAY!!!

i'm having a hard time finding a place that will give up space on a saturday nite- for about 25 people- in nassau county- picollos in bellmore would do it for like 45 pp if any of you ladies have any ideas for me to let me know

Try the Library Cafe in Farmingdale. . . they'll def do it on a saturday night and they have a nice private area. Reasonably priced too! Had my engagement party there.

We are looking now to book our Rd and prices are so expensive!!
Here's what we looked at so far (in Suffolk):

Cafe Gio (West Babylon-Sunrise Hwy): $22.95 pp includes choice of 4 entrees (veal, chicken, fish, eggplant rollatini for vegetarians), salad, and a pasta w/sauce, coffe, tea, soda). Private room included for 25+ guests

Irish Coffee Pub- $38 pp/private room (unfortunately not in our budget... )

I will post any more info I have as I get it (checking out Mulberry Street this week!)

Sagamore Steakhouse - starts at $85 pp for dinner (we're bummed b/c we really loved the place)

Oak Room (bethpage st park) - $55 pp with wine & beer

Rose Hunt (at fox hollow) - $38 ~ $60 depending on package

Go online to Lessings website first - they have a points card that lets you earn points towards free dinners when you eat at their restaurants such as Library, post office, riverview Hope this helps.

Don't know if anyone's interested in Queens...

we went to Gino's Trattoria in Bayside (35th & Bell) on Saturday and LOVED it.

They offer two different packages:

$38PP
pasta, salad, choice of chicken, fish or veal (you decide which kinds before), cake, cookies, wine & soda

$45 PP
same as above but also hot & cold antipasta (family style)

they have two different private rooms, one is half-outside with balcony

I don't want the pasta, but they have AWESOME brick oven pizza, so I'm going to ask for that instead (family style)

I'll let you know what they say.

We are having ours at villa divanzo in Amityville..FMIL and FFIL booked it but i think its in the high $20's....
