Rehearsal Dinner - Priest

Is it customary to invite your priest to the rehearsal dinner? I wasn't sure. Also, anyone inviting your priest to the reception and, if so, how? Did you send an invitation, verbally invite him/her or hand them an invite???

Rehearsal Dinner - Priest

My pastor isnt coming to the rehersal dinner because my wedding is too far for him to make the trip 2X. We did however send him an invite to the weddding an dhe will be staying for the reception. Jen

Rehearsal Dinner - Priest

You should invite the Priest to both although they often cannot attend. I would send him an invite.

Rehearsal Dinner - Priest

I sent my priest an invitation to the wedding and he has yet to respond. The wedding is Saturday. I assume he is not coming and we did not invite him to the rehearsal dinner. By the way, he also kept us waiting outside the church before the rehearsal while he finished HIS dinner.
