Re: Rehearsal Dinner Question
are you having a rehearsal at the church? if so, then you can do something very informal with those who are there...that's what we're going to do, nothing too fancy, no invitations sent out, maybe we'll reserve ahead of time since it'll be about 10 people or so.
good luck!!

I agree....I think it's nice to have something even if it's intimate like that, or a bbq....its a nice gesture for those in your wedding

Re: Rehearsal Dinner Question
we are gonna have a rehearsal at the church. i was thinking of just going for dinner somewhere nearby with the bridal party only, but having a small gettogether at the house sounds like a great idea. thanks girls

Re: Rehearsal Dinner Question
We are gonna have a small one in a private room in a restaurant somewhere near the church...nothing fancy, just something for the immediate family and bridal party to be together after rehearsal

That's what we are doing!! I'm so excited!! I'm going to decorate the backyard of our house with little lights in the trees, and have food delivered and make it really comfortable

Re: Rehearsal Dinner Question
I think its good to run through the plan for the following day / or teh day of the wedding. Its also a way to thank the bridal party... and offer then dinner and drinks.. Ultimately its your decision
FH and I are having one.. parents. grandparents, bridal party with dates

Re: Rehearsal Dinner Question
Im having one at a restaurant two blocks from the church. Since the wedding is very female the rehearsal dinner is going to be real informal and relaxed. I think its really important to have one...just so everyone can meet and loosen up before the wedding. Also, to give out your bridal party gifts.
