Rehearsal Dinner Recommendations

Alas, we are at this point in the planning process. Can anyone recommend a nice restaurant in the Babylon/N. Babylon/Deer Park area?

I just went to my cousin's baby shower at Papa Joe's in Deer Park. It was very nice - they had a large private room, and the food was very good.

there is a mag. that lists all of LI's best restaurants ... it's a great resource, I know that they have a website, if you want it FM me.

I had mine at Umbertos in New Hyde Park. In a private room upstairs. The food was really good and it was really nice.

I live in babylon, and my favorite restuarant (which I wanted to have my fi daughters communion) is Peters Pasta!!!!!!!!! They have a room in the back which I believe holds about 25 people. Im sure that if you go in they might work something out. I also wanted to have my christmas party there, so I mentioned it to Peter and he said that he would work something out. Enough on that one. Also what I hear is good is La Bella Palermo, which both is on Main Street in the village. I also heard good things about pappa joes

papa joes!! the best! in deer park--my first choice

villa monaco--i think it is in w.islip-it is on montauk hwy.

Thanks, girls - I have been to Papa Joes and like the food there as well, but I'll be happy to check out your recommendations as well?

We had ours at the Chinese Restaurant in Babylon...across from the Movie Theater. It was a great choice. We had platters served family style and people ate themselves silly!! WE had 25 people, drinks included, cost us about $650 (as far as I can remember)

They have a room in the back that we had almost to ourselves...they have booths in the front. We also had our RD on a Thursday night. Easier to get a restaurant that way!
