Rehearsal Dinner Sites
Hi everyone. I need some advice on a site for my rehearsal dinner. My wedding date is Dec 17th (Sat) and we have a deposit down at the Mill Pond in Centerport, but they changed the dinner times on us! Originally it was 5PM or 9PM, but now for a Fri night dinner they gave us options of either 4PM or 9:30PM! 4PM is a little too early for me and 9:30PM is way too late - we have a lot of OOT guests and the hotel is in Happauge, so I wouldn't want to ask them to stay out till midnight the night before the wedding.
Anyway, I'm trying to think of somewhere else to go for the dinner. I live in NC (originally from Northport) so it's been hard to plan the wedding from so far away. I can't check out any restaurants and neither can my F IL's - they live in VA. Does anybody have any ideas? I can ask my mother to check out a couple of places for me. My FMIL is looking for something moderately priced - around $50/person. No need for open bar since FH's family is mainly Baptist - not big drinkers. My Irish Catholic family can pay for their own alcohol.![]()
