Rehearsal Dinner spots...
Does anyone have any suggestions for us to have our Rehearsal Dinner? Most likely, we're going to be paying for it, so we would need something inexpensive. I thought of the Outback, but that can get expensive. Maybe a really nice Italian restaurant with a private room/area? What do you guys think? It's going to be in August so maybe something on the water?

There is a great place in Greenlawn called RUVO'S. It is an Italian restaurant with great food and atmosphere. The food is pretty reasonable - main entrees run from $11-$20 but I am sure they would do something special for a rehearsal dinner if you arranged it with them. The phone # is 261-7700. Good luck!

Definitely the Printer's Devil!!!
It's in Port Jeff & it is SO reasonable. They run about $20 per person for dinner & that includes an appetizer, salad, entree (choice of 3) and dessert. The food is so great and it has a really nice private room. If you want more info just let me know.

well, i work at the outback and if you ask me it is not very personal. It also can get very expensive because we just upped the prices! I like places that have sepeerate rooms or sort of away from everyone else. Outback can't do that

Try Captain Bill's in BayShore
I'm not sure what it costs, but it is on the water and the food is great. We are having our rehearsal dinner there. We have a chose of a sit down dinner or buffet. I can't wait. Some people even have there wedding receptions there so I'm sure it will be very nice. Good Luck!

I'm not sure what area you are looking for but I'll offer a few suggestions. Try Mario's on 25A in Setauket. They have a separate room and they're pretty inexpensive. Also, try Amici's in Mt. Sinai on 347/25A. They also have a separate room and great food - Also very reasonable.
