Rehearsal Dinner -Suffolk

We live in Shoreham and getting married at a church in our town. I cannot think of a good place for the rehearsal dinner though. All the attendees will be coming from the west so I kinda wanted something a lil more west... I first looked into Cooperage Inn but I am not really thrilled with their menu. Then I looked at Lombardi's on the Sound but they make you do a bar tab, which I am nervous about. I also looked into Pace's in Port Jeff but just way out of our price range. Can anyone else think of something close by? I feel like most people on here are in Nassau but any suggestions...

MY FH went to a RD at Irish Coffee Pub and Harbor Crab in Patchogue which he said were both nice.

You can also try Danford's in PJ - you have the option of including beer/wine or running a bar tab. Depending on how big ytour party is, you could try PastaPasta in PJ too (love that place!). I've been to a RD at Cafe Amici in Selden and there was so much food!

If cafe amici wasn't so far from the church (25 minutes) I would have definitely looked into it. I'm going to try danfords tomorrow, but his sister had hers there so I wanted to be different. I think we are looking at 30 to 50 depending on what we decide too do
