Rehearsal Dinner Suggestions?

Rehearsal Dinner Suggestions?

Since we have about 20 in our bridal party (so double that for guests) plus family and a bunch of OOT'ers, it looks like this RD is going to be huge.

Regardless, it needs to be on a Friday night - does anyone know where we could have one for like 50-75 people?

Do restaurants take parties that large? Any places with private rooms? Looking for Western Nassau County.

TIA

I am having mine at the Lucky Duck in Garden City. We are having about 60 people. They were very reasonably priced too.

Victory actually has a private room in the basement with its own restroom - I was there for a shower

Jonathan's on Jericho Tpke. in Garden City Park is where we had our RD - they do have packages and private rooms.

I think both Carmela's and Filomena in Franklin square have private rooms. They ar both Italian and on Hempstead tpke.

The Lucky Duck has very good food, but I am not sure they have a private room.

City Cafe on Stewart Ave (near the Wingate Inn) used to be good, but I haven't been there in years. They might have a private room.

The seventh st. Cafe on 7th St. in Garden City is supposed to be nice - it is very close to the hotel. I considered that, but it was a little $$ for us.

I would recommend MOTHER KELLY'S in cedarhurst. They have the best italian food ever! They have a beautiful new party room in the back that I'm sure can hold your amount. You have your own private bar, private music and you have alot of different options to chose from the menu.

My rehearsal dinner is actually going to be held here.

We had ours at Jonathens in Garden City Park and we had 60 people and they were great.
ETA - If you have over 70 i think you can get a private room....it might be less then that.

Check out Louie's Oyster Bar and Grille in Port Washington. Right on the water and they can accomodate up to 75 I think.
