Rehearsal Dinner - the night before the wedding

Just curious - who is having / had it the night before the wedding, who is having / had it earlier?

We are the night before, starting at 5.30 - 6.00 pm

I am the night before. Rehearsal at 6:30, dinner is 7:15 to 10:00.

we are having it the night before. i would prefer two nights before, but we have a couple of out-of-towners in the bp and therefore we felt it would be easier on them to do it friday, probably at 6:00.

Ours is the night before - rehearsal @ 6:30 dinner at 7:30

We had it a week before because it was more like a rehearsal party......we had about 70 people with a dj. I did not want to do this the night before the wedding.

I would recomment 1-2 days before b/c the night before your wedding, trust me...all you want to do is relax.

I am 2 nights before b/c my wedding is at 10 am, can't waste any time the night before. I have to go get beautiful

We had ours the night before due to out of towners in the BP.

Our's is 2 nights before... definitely wouldn't be able to do all this the day before...

I believe we are doing it the night before - we thought about doing 2 nights before, but, since my 2 MOH's are both from out of town, it's easier for them. And, like MarcellaBella, for me earlier would be a tease!

I have to have mine 2 days before the wedding since I am geting married on a Sunday and my church doesn't allow reherals on Saturdays! I am psyched to have a day off inbetween but fee bad for my out-of-town guests who are family and in the bridal party who have to spend an extra night in a hotel.

I am doing it 4 days before on a Saturday as I am getting married on a Wednesday (the night before Thanksgiving). I figured it would be for people to have off on a Saturday vs. taking off 2 weeknights.

I'm having it 4 days before because our priest will be out of town that Thursday and Friday before the wedding.

I am doing it the night before because a lot of my BP is from out of town. The guys are also giving my FH his bachelor party two nights before.

I did mine the Friday before. My church only does it on certain days and certain times and this was the best for the most people.

I wanted people to hang out and not rush home because they had to get up early for the wedding so it worked out ok for me. Almost all my bridal party lived in NY or NJ so out of towners were not an issue.

We're 2 days before. We have a butt crazy early morning wedding on a Saturday, so we figured having the RD 2 days before would give everyone Friday to recoup.
