Rehearsal Dinner Time
We are having a rehearsal dinner the night before our wedding. The wedding is an 11:30 start, and I was wondering what time would be good (not too early or late) to have it. First person hair appointment is at 6:15 am so obviously don't want it to be a late night. Would 6:00pm on a Friday be too early? I'm worried that a 7:00pm or later start will have some people not getting enough sleep.Just curious for thoughts and opinions. Thanks.

We're doing an early dinner too because our rehearsal is at 5:30pm. I don't think 6pm is too early at all!

I think a rehearsal shouldn't take longer than 30 minutes. I'll probably have mine during the week before as opposed to the day before (which is a Saturday, and there will definitely be a party going on at my venue), so we're not too worried about the time. But if I was going to do it the night before, I'd make sure it ended before 10, that way I could be in bed by 11pm, and get a good night's sleep (if I can even sleep at all!!!).

I agree, 6 am is an early wake up so try getting them home early.

We are getting married on a Saturday and this is the exact reason why I am unsure when to do the RD. We think we will do the RD on Thursday that way we don't have to worry about it being late but I do think that 6pm is perfect!

Can you do it a week before? We are doing our rehearsal at our church a week before so we dont have to worry about when it ends. I dont think your time is too early at all because our rehearsal dinner is going to start at around 6:30.

Thanks for all the feedback. We need to do it the night before because much of the bridal party and half of the immediate family are from out of town. I think I'll see if we can do it earlier so that we can be back at the hotel no later than 10Welcome New Vendors
