Rehearsal dinner week before?

Is it weird to have the rehearsal dinner a week before the wedding..my family says its a good idea, and part of me wants to do that so its not the night before my wedding..but it seems weird to me..is anyone else doing this??? tia

we are doing ours the week before. its easier for all of us and i dont want to be worrying about it up until the last minute

You can do it whenever you want....my wedding is on Saturday and I plan on having it Thursday night. HTH

I am planning on doing ours the week before. The day before our wedding is Halloween and we have 5 kids in the bridal party. I feel guilty telling them to give up trick or treating to go to a rehersal dinner
