REhearsal problems

I have aproblem, My FI and I are pretty much paying for the wedding by ourselves. With a little help from both sides. My soon to be father in law offered instead of a rehearsal dinner giving us that money to go towards the hall. Which is great, BC we as much money as possible. But now what do we do, we still have to have the rehearsal. Any sugestions?

Re: REhearsal problems

Where are you getting married?
I have seen in several places that the wedding party does not rehearse until right before the wedding (about 1/2 to 1 hour prior). The maitre or main wedding assistant explains what is everybody supposed to do, according with the style that you want (FI is originaly British, so in my case we are doing it in the old european style, where the only parent in the bridal party is my father, while my mother and his parents are already seated in the front seats) and do a quick walking through once or twice. I recommend you to talk to your wedding planner or the manager who is incharged of your affair, he/she can explain you better, but I have seen that in lots of weddings, since of course the 'rehearsal/dinner' is extra money.

good luck

Elena

Re: REhearsal problems

Is it possible to do something casual in someone's house. My friend did that and everybody had a lot of fun.
