We were hoping to have it at my parents house...something very informal and relaxing after the church, but it won't be happening now. I am very angry, but need to move on! What places would you suggest for a rehearsal dinner? I would still like to keep it very relaxed and not pay a fortune. Help!!!

Unfortunately it is a Friday night (after work) at 6:30pm in October....I wish we could do the park!

I hate to say it, but the budget is as low as possible! Although, I would like to have beer and wine included. I know I am asking too much. The church is in Carle Place, so I am looking for very central area of Nassau county. Thanks for all your ideas! I will get started on researching

I second the recommendation for Umbertos in new Hyde Park.
We had FH's grandfather's 80th bday party there. They have private rooms upstairs, the food is great, and they are really affordable.

Elisa's in Bellmore on N. Jersalem. The food is great and the price is about $20 PP that includes alcohol . Ask for Rocco
