rehersal dinner

I'm crashing your boards.. im an '08er with a question...
who did you invite to the rehersal dinner... did you invite the significant others of your bridesmaids/ushers?? Just wondering what is proper. I was thinking about inviting the significant others of out of town ushers.. But i wasnt sure what to do with the locals... thanks

Re: rehersal dinner

Technically you are supposed to invite anyone with their significant other if they're married or engaged. I am extending it to 'dating for a while' too!

So we're inviting the BP, their significant others, immediate family, and the few OOTers that we'll have.
ETA: and anyone else in the ceremony (readers, etc).

Re: rehersal dinner

we had our bridal party and close family. DHs mom invited her friends who were in from out of town (she paid for it, so whatever!).
We did invite all significant others. I think it is the proper thing to do.

Re: rehersal dinner

we aren't having a traditional rehearsal dinner .... there's no rehearsal b/c we're getting married at the RH.

so we are having a 'welcome dinner' ...

its immediate family, bridal party + guests, out of towners, and all my aunts & uncles

= 75 people!
