Rehersal Dinner

Who pays for the rehersal dinner?? isn't it the grooms parents? also who gets invited? i guess its the bridal party, the parents, & anybody involved in the ceremony. So does my FG parents come even though are not in BP??

My FH parents are divorced. My FMIL has been helping both with paying for a few vendors & helping with plainning. now the FFIL has done NADA.. ZIPPO!!. so she tells she is going to call & tell he has to start opening up his wallet.. so i guess i can tell maybe he can pay for the rehearsal dinner... just want to get an idea of the cost in case he asks..

Tradition says that it is the grooms family that pays but we decided to pay on our own as a thank you to our parents and bridal party

traditionally yes the grooms parents pay...YES you invite the fg's parents and rb's parents...for the RD's ive been to it was bp plus their dates which usually are wives, fiancee's or serious gf's, readers and also many invite OOT guests
