We'll prob book ours sometime early next year. We're going to pick a restaurant that's pretty close to the church. We're inviting the bridal party and their guests, immediate family, and church readers.

Pick a place near where the rehearsal is.

This might be a silly question but do you have a rehearsal and a rehearsal dinner if you have your ceremony at the hall?

If you're getting having a real rehearsal, then I would recommend having it someplace around there. If you're not having a rehearsal (say getting married at the RH and they don't really do rehearsals) then have it where ever you want!
We had no rehearsal, live in Ronkonkoma, and had our RD at Mirabelle (absolutely amazing BTW!). Most of our family and BP live around us, so it was pretty convenient.
As far as who goes... You, FH, both of your parents, both of your grandparents, and the BP. Also, if it is the night before the wedding sometimes you can extend the invite to out of towners. We also had our reader there. And if you have siblings that aren't in the BP I would invite them too.

We are getting married at a church and just booked rehearsal today for the day before because we have a lot of out of towners involved in the wedding. I believe only BP and parents are supposed to go.

I booked mine a month ago, because I needed a place that had a gluten free menu!

I booked close to the Church- we are having those involved in the wedding and immediate family (including grandparents)

The rehearsal dinner is technically to entertain the out of town guests. That is why originally it was the night before the wedding.

You can invite whomever you want. But If it is the night before or two nights before OOT guests should be invited.

Or you can be like my FMIL and make the rehearsal 1 week before the wedding :(
