Re: Rehersal Dinner
I am going to do invites for the rehersal dinner. I may also do an evite after so that it is easier to respond.
I am inviting the bridal party and their significant other and OOT people. But only OOT people that would be staying at the hotel the night before. For example. I am not inviting my aunt and uncle who live in Jersey.

Re: Rehersal Dinner
the invites dont have to be as formal as the wedding, but i would send them.
we are only inviting parents, WP (and the few bf/gf's that go with the WP) and our Officiant.
trying to keep the numbers down as much as we can

Re: Rehersal Dinner
we are inviting our BP with SO's (those that are bringing dates to the wedding but aren't seriously dating will not have a plus one), our parents, our readers, and our fg & rb with their parents 9they are brother & sister)
I will also be sending out invites.

Re: Rehersal Dinner
so we have having a slightly larger RD. we are inviting BP and they are all married, so all SO, any OOT guest staying at the hotel on friday, and any close family like my aunt uncle and cousins even though they are not staying in the hotel. we will prolly have somewhere around 40-45 people

Re: Rehersal Dinner
I'll send out invites, I think. But it's only our parents, WP and their SO's. I can't invite OOT people because that would essentially be our entire wedding. We'll just keep this dinner quiet. Our family is the majority of the WP anyway.

Re: Rehersal Dinner
I'll likely do something really informal like e-mail, word-of-mouth, or something on the wedding site. OOT would be 150 guests, so that's like planning a small wedding, instead of a rehearsal dinner! The less people that go for me, the better......

Re: Rehersal Dinner
I made invites from Wedding Paper Divas. I invited grandparents, parents, bridal party, readers, and gift bearers. Of course significant others as well! I think we had a total of 25 people there.

Re: Rehersal Dinner
I have an 17 person bridal party. I feel like if we invite significant others it will make the dinner very large, But it seems like everyone on here is saying they do invite significant others?

Re: Rehersal Dinner
Sending out invites, or might put a seperate insert for the people I am inviting in the wedding invitation. Inviting whoever is staying at the hotel and bridal party

Re: Rehersal Dinner
Inviting the bridal party and their significant others/husbands. The places we've looked at gave us prices for 24 people, don't think our parents can afford anyone else.

Re: Rehersal Dinner
I'm doing invites, I found some online that aren't too expensive. Currently its only immediate family, and the BP and their sig others (and/or children).
I really think its appropriate to invite the close OOT'ers who are coming in the night before, not all... but the FIL's are paying and I don't know what they think is doable... I know they have money to spare but I can't dictate that.

I think we are sending out invites, inviting only bridal party and SO's and immediate family

There are 2 children in my Bp and their parents are best friends with my mom and are very close family friends so yes they will be invited to our RD

Re: Rehersal Dinner
I will be sending invitations. We are inviting the BP with date, parents, readers with date. FH dad (he's paying) may want to invite some out of town family members but we are trying to keep it small. We don't want a big party right before the wedding.

Re: Rehersal Dinner
I think we might just call everyone with the details, that or an email (or evite) I don't know.. as you can see, we haven't figured this out yet :)
Bridal party (with SO), and parents/siblings. Think that's it.

Re: Rehersal Dinner
I'm a 2013'er, but I was just having this conversation with my Grandmother. We are planning to invite BP (and their SOs, if they are attending the wedding), grandparents, and parents. I would love to include the OOT'ers, but then it would get too large. I'm trying to keep things small.
