Rehersal dinner help, Especially girls getting married at a church.

When did the church let you know what day the rehearsal dinner would be on.

Also, does anyone have any restaurant suggestions, in Suffolk county only.

i just met with my priest today to pay our donation and we were able to book our rehearsal.

Our church doesn't tell us anything. We have to contact them for everything. I called last week and booked the rehearsal

I called the church myself a couple of months ago to book the rehearsal since I wanted to let our out of town guests that are in the wedding party know.

I just called and booked it

Our rehearsal dinner is at th elong island bar and grill on portion road in lake ronkonkoma.. SO yummy and cool atmosphere!

Thanks, I will have to call and book them. I have to call the church about everything as well. They have yet to contact me.

I don't think the church will contact you the same way a vendor would. I think it is up to the brides to contact the church.

we had to call and work out a day and time...it was a little easier for us since we are bringing in our own priest BUT you need to make sure that it will be open and that the priest will be available

Our church has a standard night/time for ALL rehearsals, he told us when that was when we initially met with him.

I called the church.. they have certain couples that do the rehearsal - you have to call them and set up a date with the couple.
We are having our RD at marios hi hook in babylon... Really good food- I wanted to keep the Rest. and church close to each other.

my church told me when my rehersal dinner was on the day that we booked the church. im sure you can give them a call and they will be able to give you ur date.

im having my rehersal dinner at Captain Bills in Bay Shore...

I'm not getting married in a church, but the RD is at The View in Northport. LOVE the food there.

I actually told my church when I wanted the rehersal to be. I made it for two days before the wedding.

I just have to call the church and tell them when I'd like the rehearsal to be. How much are you all paying for the rehearsal dinner? How far in advace shoud I book it?

My church has the Rehearsal on Fridays at 7 pm so since my wedding is on Sunday it willbe two nights before- If it was a Fri it would have to be the week before. We are having our Rehearsal Dinner at La Famiglia in Smithtown

We couldn't book our date & time for our rehearsal until after we finished precana. you might want to call your church and ask when you can book it, since your wedding is coming up you want to know.
