Rehersal Dinner invitation

FH's father is hosting our rehersal dinner. How do you do the invitations? Do we send out separate invitations or put an insert inside? I don't know which invites we are geting yet but are leaning toward pocketfolds.

What are you girls doing? What is the proper ettiquette?

You can send separate invitations, don't include them with your wedding invitations. I printed up a cute poem with the info on a nice peice of stationary and send them out about 2 weeks ahead of time. Some brides don't even make up RD invitations, you can just send out a simple email or get it out by word of mouth.
