Does anyone know if a church will do a rehearsal on a Sunday night? I'm not Catholic, so I don't know the traditional Sunday evening mass schedule. This would be the best day for us. I'm having FH call the church, but since only God knows how long it will take him to get around to it (no pun intended), I figured I'd ask you guys! TIA
Some churches have masses on Sunday evenings, it really depends on the church and how big of a parish it is (how many masses they need to do to serve their parish) and probably some other things too! Most don't I think, but my parish in Philly has a 7:00pm Sunday mass....
You might be better off calling the church directly and asking if they have any Sunday evening masses.
Every church is different so it's best to call them directly.
Thanks everyone. FH did call and they were weird. They said that there are no masses after 5pm mass, but since we are bringing in an out of parish priest 'they prefer not to do it on Sunday' because 'after mass the Church doors get locked.' Soooo basically they can't get organized enough to make sure the doors stay unlocked until my rehearsal is over and for that reason we need to do it Monday. Ugh!
