Rehersal question

I finally scheduled my Wedding Rehersal!
I was so nervous that they wouldn't have the date or times i wanted available b/c i waited so long, but they did!!! YAY ...now just have to find a place to go eat after!


but now with the RD...should i go to restaurants or call for prices? What exactly do I say exactly? I hate speaking to people over the phone...i mean do they give you a price or you find out when you get the check? FH's Grandfather is paying and i don't want him to have a heart attack when he gets the bill

I would definately search out some potential places and compare prices first before approaching FH's grandfather. I'm sure he would want you to plan it.

Some places will have a separate room and a fixed menu (and fixed price)..that was there are no surprises...I would call a few restaurant in the area first and find one that is in the right price range and then go try some out.

how many people are you expecting? maybe you could find a restaurant with a private room

We found a restaurant we liked and found out they have a private room for parties and went from there.

probs going to be about 20-25 people
