Re: Releasing White Doves
releasing something for pics make for a beautiful picture however IMO white doves signify death they release those at funerals.
My limo company is providing me with ballons with my theme, some people use butterflies those are really pretty as well also flower petals make a beautiful picture as well.

Some people release white doves, but I too believe they signify death. When my grandparents died, we release one white dove.

Re: Releasing White Doves
I guess I am going to have to think about it that one. The doves do look really pretty, but I wouldn't them pooping on me either. Just my luck on one of my special days....

I heard that the butterflies are in those boxes for quite sometime and 80% of them fly for 1-2 minutes then drop dead. Pretty at first but then ~ thats kinda yucky. Never seen it but when i heard that...it turned me off.

Re: Releasing White Doves
They did it at WOTY 05. it was beautiful and the oics were great. but keep in mind that since they have to find teir way home, they cannot be released too close to sunset, nor can they be released, I believe in too cold weather..just something to keep in mind.
The butterflies sound pretty too, but remember that in november, they would just die.
