Reliable Shoe Dye Place, or DIY???

Hello, I just got a swatch of my dress color from the designer. Its ivory and my shoes are white satin, its much more of a contrast than I expected and I think I want to dye them.

They are Stewart Wietzman and cost me too much, but I love them so I'm looking for a reputable shoe dyer... or is this something I can do myself?

Once they are died ivory, can I die them again, like lets say black, so that I can wear them post wedding?

bring them to sandy's in massapequa. i dont know what they would charge you.

you can re-dye them black after you're done w/ them being ivory.

Sandy's in Massapequa Park is great. I was MOB and my dress color was very unusual. Carolyn (I think that's her name) was great. She had my shoes for a week and called me and asked if she could have a few more days. She had taken apart the swatch of fabric I gave her looking at individual threads to match the color. It came out perfectly!! I was so happy. She also did a clutch bag.

I used a store a few years ago, forgot where. It's called Dying for you OR Dye for you. Something like that, but they did a great job too.

I'm not sure if it is convenient for you, but Jim's Shoe repair on 59th Street btw. Park and Madison is phenomenal. Stuart Weitzman has a shop around the corner and all of the high-end designers (Prada, Gucci, etc. plus Barneys) send their shoes to them. Their prices are very reasonable and they can match any colour.
