Religion

My FH is Catholic and I am protestant. We are getting married in my church, the one my parents got married in. We have talked about how we will raise our children religiously.

My FH had the idea to have our children baptized and dedicaded to bring them up with both faiths. Even though they are both Christian, we are trying to compromise, because neither of us want to give up our faiths. Is anyone else having this issue?

FH & I are both catholic. He's non practicing though. Our compromise is that I get to bring the kids to church on Sundays while he probably sleeps.

At least you are both christian though. It should work out fine since you both seem to be open minded about it.

Re: Religion

Fh and I were two different religions. Neither of us really like where we went. I went every week with my fam and he didnt go. A year or so after we met we started going to a methodist church by my house. Something different than how eithr of us was raised. We now go every sunday to church and really enjoy going. i am glad we made this compromise and decided to go.

FH and I are of two different religions. I told him long before we got engaged that I wanted to get married in the Catholic Church and raise my children Catholic.

He agreed but we decided that they will also learn about their father's religion also.

I just don't agree with telling the children that one is right and the other is wrong.

I think we will made a good compromise that we will be able to live with.
