Re: Religion, nationality?
We are both Jewish and fairly observant (i.e. we keep a Kosher home). FH is Israeli, I am Russian and Austrian but I am also 3rd generation American, so tend to just go with that.

Re: Religion, nationality?
Me: Roman Catholic and Irish FH: no religion: baptized RC but never went again after that day. 50% Guatemalan & 50% Irish. His “step family” is 100% Greek. So when I go to his mom's she is speaking Spanish and everyone else is speaking Greek. They are polite about it and she speaks English perfectly (grew up in NY and then went to HS in Guatemala) but it was very overwhelming at first. His dad is 100% Irish.

Re: Religion, nationality?
We are both Roman Catholics, IN FACT, we both went to the same church our whole lives so we didn't have to fight about which church to use! I am 1/2 Puerto Rican and 1/2 Italian and FH is 1/2 Italian, 1/4 German and 1/4 Irish. Our children will be quite the mutts!
