Remember Afterschool Specials?

I LOVED those! For some reason I started thinking of them on my way to work. They were always so preachy and all the kids always had these huge houses. I remember one about some kids who made this girl think that they liked her as part of some social experiment, then they decided that they really did like her. And there were tons of drug and alcohol ones too.

i also loved afterschool specials i miss them i think they should do a weekend marathon on them on lifetime

I would love a marathon! We'd get too see all those bad 80s fashions again. Afterschool Special kids usually had great duds.

yeah, I remember those. It's true, it was always about drugs and alcohol. there was one the even Drew Barrymore did. I didn't see it but it was mentioned in her true hollywood story.

I loved them. I remember watching them and then all of sudden they were gone

For some reason I can clearly remember one with a swim team and some girls with cocaine addictions.

I remember that one! There were 4 friends and two of them became coke addicts. I remember one scene where they were babysitting and one of the kids almost drowned because they were stoned!
