and I remember a small playground in Howard Beach down a couple of blocks.. it had a merry-go-round.. a boat ride.. and some other rides.

I loved that place. my best friend used to work there, it was crossbay amusement park or something. I used to go every saturday and visit it and go home with lots of free goodies

Those were the days

I was such a fraidy cat.. their roller coaster made me nervous.. now you know how simple that thing was... LOL First started going in the 70's (probably mid 70's).. stopped in the 80's.. went for giggles the last time I was there (a July 4 of the mid 90's... you're right.. those were the days!
