Remembering Loved Ones Lost...

Are you including this into your ceremony somehow? Any ideas would be great.... TIA

we arent including them in the ceremony but we are going to have a table set up during the reception to honor them.

ive seen candles,a picture frame at the service,pics attached to a bo-k and even a single rose placed on a seat to remember someone lost..hth

I have a candle, syaing in my program, bouquet charm, pics near my table and at the start of my ceremony something will be said.

I have a bk charm for my mom and I am going to ask that my officiant say something for her. I also am putting a pic of my mom and dad at their wedding where guests find their table card just to honor her.

This is what we are doing...

-mentioning those who we lost in our programs
-possibly lighting a candle for FH's father during the ceremony
-we got a dozen roses in a memory vase which represents those who we lost since we unfortunately have so many between us two, but we will have a picture of FH's father only on the memory table

we have two big projection screens in our church so we are going to put all the loved ones we lost on there

We dedicated the back page of our program to our 3 grandparents who are no longer with us. Everyone commented about it, I really like it. We wrote a personal message to each grandparent, and thanked them for making us the people we are today.
