Remind me about this BM thing again (vent)

Ok, so I have been in people's weddings AND had financial trouble, but always made it happen for them because I am their friend...well, fast forward to the girls I carefully selected because I like them and think they are cool and will keep me calm on the day of my wedding. So the time comes to start planning things and the one BM (not the MOH) says she's so excited and can't wait to do anything for me and she tells my MOH all of these things are planned and they clearly weren't (side note..MOH lives in NJ, so this girl said she would help with some local stuff). NOW the shower's being planned and girls are giving my MOH a hard time about everything and of course, after I told everyone NOT to tell me about any drama and to just deal with things since I trust everyone and don't need any extra drama, I have my mom and the girls relaying everything to me in different versions..what part of DON'T TELL ME don't you understand??! And...not to be snooty, but if you can't afford things, you can't afford to go shopping every weekend and buy new furniture and go on several pricey vacations a year and cry that you are poor..give me a break! I borrowed money from FH to be in a wedding last year (well, it's kinda not borrowing anymore..ha) but now I am feeling like I don't know who my friends are (again..this has been recurring in life, unfortunately) and it just *****...I'm trying not to be upset, but it's times like these when I say, 'WHY DO I NEED BRIDESMAIDS AGAIN?!?

It amazes me the way 'friends' want you to be there for them and do everything a bridesmaid is 'supposed' to do without complaints. But when it's their turn to be a bridesmaid they act like it's such a burden.

I can sympathize b/c I am going through something similar. I orginally was going to have six bridesmaids and now I have four.

I didn't need to hear complaints and stress from them so I said if you don't want to be a bridesmaid then don't and they couldn't say no fast enough.

Now three months before the wedding one of the girls changed her mind!
Stick to your original plan that you don't want to hear the drama and then tune them out if they don't listen
