Tracy...Thanks for the reminder!!
Now I am a little concerned...My wedding will be during Lent!! I just realized that. I am having some non-meat dishes, but should I look into changing some things so I can offer alot more non-meat food????? I am doing my menu this Sunday...so I have a few days to figure this out!! Any suggestions??????

Re: Reminder For Catholics...
Since I a full practicing Catholic, I has this same problem a couple times where I had to attend parties during the Fridays of Lent. I spoke to my Pastor and he told me that since it is a celebration, God can make an exception. I of course did not eat meat but I could if I wanted too.

Lisa is right!! The last time St. Patrick's Day was on a Friday. I think the Pope even said we could eat our corned beef!!

Re: Reminder For Catholics...
That I am not sure of. If you really are concerned about that, you should ask your priest about that specific situation.
