How do you do it without messing up your hair? Everytime I try it at home, the comb pulls up some of my hair with it.

Re: Removing your veil for the reception???
The day of, ask your stylist to show someone else (your MOH or mother) how to do it... It's easier for someone else to do it than it is to do it yourself!

Re: Removing your veil for the reception???
my veil was on a 'stick' which looked more like a metal prong. it slid out easily and because it wasnt plastic it didnt snag.
ps i got my veil at barrons.

My cousin took the middle teeth out of her comb and only left 2 teeth on either side.

That's a good idea. Thanks for the info! I'm going to check with my stylist too to see what suggestions he has. I don't want to wear my veil during the reception.

Re: Removing your veil for the reception???
I had a three tier veil, two combs with the blusher attached via velcro, Took entire comb out which was the royal cathedral veil placed in a seperate area of my hair. Then took off the blusher veil with was attached via velcro and all I had left was my mid legth veil on a seperate comb which I wanted to wear throughout the reception. .

100% agree. She showed my MOH how to do it - I didn't have to deal with it at all, and it didn't ruin my hair one bit.

I'm using my MOH's and when she had her veil made they attached snaps to the comb, so I had my seamstress put snaps on my veil too!
