Renaissance of Astoria

Hello,

I wanted to know if anyone has been to a wedding or had their wedding at Renaissance of Astoria in the last year? Any information would be helpfu.

I went to check them out like in November and from the outside it looked like it had been shut down. I ran the doorbell and no one ever responded. I called them several times and they never answered my phone calls nor returned them.

I too went, rang the doorbell, and left several messages and did not get a call back. But I know for sure when we went back In January it wasn't shut down.

i went to check it out. the lady was really nice and i liked everything the place included. but when we started comparing menus, you dont really get alot compared to some f the places on LI for similar price.

i tried looking up reviews and they were hard to find. i found 3 and 1 wasnt good. we just didnt feel comfortable enough to take that chance...

but it was a nice place.

one other thing that FH didnt like....they do valet on the main road. he was worried about the passenger safety of getting out the car on the main road, cuz ppl can drive pretty fast over there since its kinda in the middle of nowhere

i have the BM's cell number, which she told me to use. so i never had a problem getting in touch with her.

I thought it was shut down because there was tons of garbage outside of the place so it gave the impression. I wonder why they would keep it like that from the pictures i saw online it was very pretty inside.
