FH is not happy with how much the flowers/centerpieces are going to cost (they just dont understand flowers) soooooo im thinking of cutting down the price. I ran into a website with beautiful feather centerpieces that would go perfectly with my theme if i rent them they will be wayyyyy cheaper versus me having floral centerpieces, BUTTTTT since its rented none of the guests cant take them home. This is where my fear sets in, if i rent these feathers my spanish family is probably going to expect that they can take it home lol, what should i do? At the end of the night i really dont want to be chasing people around to make sure they dont take the centerpieces home lol. HELLLLPPPPPP

I agree with your FH, flowers are rediculous! I say if you like the feathers and you won't lose any money cancelling the flowers then go ahead and rent. Just have your MC make an announcement that the centerpieces are not to take home.

I was even thinking of putting mini signs by the centerpieces but i feel like it would look tacky :(

No sign. That does seem a little tacky. I would just tell the staff to be on the look out and have your MC make an announcement at the end of the night.

I am doing the feather CP's!!!! SOOOOO excited! This was something I knew I wanted right from the get go!. Still not cheap... but I LOVE THEM!!!
I am not worried about people trying to take them. THEY ARE HUGE!!! I mean really huge. If anyone DOES attempt, I am letting the hall know to please tell any guests leaving with one... they are not available to take. And to also inform VALET PARKING ATTENDANTS to not let anyone leave with it.
I wouldn't worry.. I think announcing it or making signs id tacky. When you see them in person, you will understand that no one will try and take it and there is no hiding it!... I mean they are GIGANTIC and heavy!!!

She is GREAT! You can go to her and see samples. I am getting the glass base that lights up with crystals. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!! You will see,,, they are very BIG! I cannot imagine some trying to take it LOL... Don't even worry... the hall will make sure for you!
