The problem is that my FH lives in another state and he'll be flying out one week before the wedding. We'll return to his home afterwards and bring the tux back then. So I'm thinking that he'll need to rent the Tux out THERE considering that he can't just wait until 6 days before the wedding to get fitted and do all that in New York. So how much are we thinking?? He'd need the tux probably 10 days. Is that gonna kill us?

Look into mens wearhouse. Maybe he can get fitted and order where he is but have it delivered closer to the wedding site and return it the next day. They are reasonably prices, and with 5 rentals the groom is free. Just a thought?

what state does your FH live in?
Dante Zeller has locations in various places close to and around NY, so he could get fitted in one place and pick up/drop off elsewhere
Also, you're getting married in late December...will he be visiting NY anytime between now and 1 month before your wedding? If so, he can just get fitted at a store in NY when he's in town and pick up the tux a few days before the wedding.

well, the problem is that he comes from Colorado. And apparently there's not much out there.
After some research, I did find a Mens Wearhouse 100 miles from him, so that could work. Thanks for the advice. I'll tell him and the bestman to get fitted in Co and pick up in NY. That sounds really good.
Does anyone know prices at MW? Obviously it depends on style and such, i'm just looking for a rough estimate of what a tux costs.

Find a tux place here in NY, whether it be on recommendation, etc.
IT IS COMMON COURTESY, he can go to any tux place near him and get sized for free!!!!!!! Then decide on the tux and give the place HERE in NY his measurements.
Most tux places give you the tux the day before, and they want it back the day after, then you start getting charged.

NP, if he cant get a tux place to do it (they should we had a few that had to do this) he can go anywhere and get measured. He will only need to put it on once and make sure it fits and if it doesnt 6 days should be enough time to fix anything if need be.

I agree. We have some people out of state also. We just have to send in measurments & day b4 wedding they will adjust. They have a tailor on site. Dire Tux's Franklin square
