Renting Candelabras

Renting Candelabras

I would like to rent ten tall candelabras to use as centerpieces at my wedding. I would like them to at least have five candles each. I would prefer the candelabras that have real candles spring loaded inside of a fake candle cover (if you understand what I mean) so that the tip of the candle burns, but because of the spring inside the false cover, the wick stays outside the false cover and it doesn't appear that the real candle is burning down at all.

I posted this on the VHB board, but I was hoping some of you could assist me as well. I assume that I could rent them from a florist (obviously without getting a floral centerpiece in the center of it) but I would think that would be quite expensive.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

I used party rental ltd for my rentals - and i was going to rent tall 5 arm candelabras from them

they don't usually work straight through individuals usually with catering halls or wedding coordinators - Elaine Deluca from equisite events booked everything for me - plus she passed her 10% or 15% savings onto me

i was going to rent them till i learned tapered candles do not work well with AC from the side of the room - all the candles would blow out - so check with your catering hall that the AC comes from the floor or ceiling

Hmm... I'm not using a DOC or anything like that. I'll still check them out though. Thanks!

And - great tip about the air conditioning - I would never have thought about that! Thanks!
