Re: Renting wedding dress vs. buying wedding dress
I understand why people would want to rent a dress but I wouldn't. It all depends on the person. I know that people rent them for the same reason that men rent their tux. It is only going to be worn once and only for a few hours so I totally get why people do it.

As said above, I too understand why one would rent a wedding dress. Just worn once.
However, I can be quite sentimental and I want to keep my wedding dress forever. I don't think I could bear to part with it.

I feel the same way. I was considering donating my dress to the bridal garden but I changed my mind.

ITA. Plus if you rent a dress it won't fit you 100% perfectly since they can't alter it too much or it won't be rentable again.

Re: Renting wedding dress vs. buying wedding dress
at first i thought i would rent one, but my mom thought that was a bad idea and since she offered to pay for it, i bought mine. not too happy about finding a place to store it in my tiny apt though.
