reoccuring wedding nightmare!!

reoccuring wedding nightmare!!

first of all HI!! i've been in boston all week and i missed all of you girls. i read the thread about the GTG, and i'm glad the girls who went had so much fun. i hope i can make the next one.

so i had ANOTHER wedding nightmare while i was away...and i realized i get them a LOT and i also realized that the theme is reoccuring.

in every dream i am about to walk down the aisle, and i realize i'm not at the RH, i'm not in the dress i wanted, and i forgot to plan everything. nothing is how it should be, and it's too late to do anything about it b/c everyone is there and the wedding is about to start and i'm so upset.

the dream is always the same, the only thing that changes is the place the wedding is at. and i'm always SO upset!! i wonder why that keeps happening?!

I don't have my wedding nightmare often, but when I do, it is the same as yours... I show up and I forgot to plan EVERYTHING...

Everyone is there, but nothing is how I envisioned it...

I get recurring dreams too where I'm going somewhere important and nothing is ready (wedding , prom, vacation) I always try to figure out WHY I am having the dream.

Maybe your sub-conscious is saying that nothing else matters (dress, RH, etc.) b/c you are getting married to your FH!! That's all that matters. All the planning is nice and fun- but you know the real reason you are doing it.

How's that for Freud mumbo jumbo.

I have gotten the same dream about 3x

Everything goes wrong, but most prominently is that my dress is blue and see thru and I dont understand why

HOW WEIRD, RIGHT????!!!!

omg i keep having the same type of dreams.
i've been told it's actually quite the popular wedding nightmare.

i hope you don't have one again, at least not for a while. but just incase, see if you can tell yourself that everything is going to be fine as you fall asleep. that way if you have one of those dreams, you can be like...'TEST RUN!' and tell yourself in your dream that everything is fine and see how you handle all the 'obstacles' that way you know that if something comes up at your real wedding(IT WON'T) you sort of have an idea of how you'll handle it.

I have had the same dream too!! I wonder what it means...better that I freak out in my dream then on the actual day of the wedding though.

It is NERVES!!! Dont worry! try and relax before you sleep. And count on the fact that you know what you are doing!!!
