Reply cards---how did you word the accepts/decline?

I am just about to do my reply cards and mail my invitations next week so I need to figure out how to word the


____accepts ??????


_____declines?????

... and had someone cross the 's' off of the accepts!!!!!

I had my reply card say

A handwritten reply is requested by XX.

Then my guests wrote a small note to us. Some just wrote
Mr. Mrs Smith are attending but many wrote a nice note to us.

My sisters read Mr.____and Mrs.___
will be__________
will not be___________
attending.

Ours said:

Kindly respond before xx/xx/xxxx

M_____________________________

Number attending ___

Mine said
M_____________________
_____will attend
_____will not attend

Mine says:

M______________________
____accepts ____regrets

____persons will attend

We just sent a reply card back to a couple. It read:

Kindly respond before xx/xx/xxxx

M_____________________________

Will _____ attend

Ours read:

The favour of a reply is requested before February 20th, 2004

M____________________________

_____Accept with pleasure

_____Decline with regret

Yeah, still waiting for six people to respond...two and half weeks later.

We put:

The favor of a response is requested before ________________

M______________________________

_____Accept with pleasure

_____Decline with regret

We didn't want to put # of guests due to the fact that I don't want couples to include their children in the response.

I am planning on doing the traditional response cards too.

I really like the handwritten reply idea!!! thats cute!

I am still missing 25 resonses...and it seems unlikely that all 25 will appear in my mailbox in the next 2 days

I am planning on doing the handwritten reply also - we did it on my Bat Mitzvah response cards - OMG - almost 18 years ago - and I still have them saved somewhere because we got such nice notes back!

I also didn't put Number of Persons___ because 99% of our guest list is couples.

Here's what mine look like. I put the number attending because I didn't want any surprises the day of the wedding!
