Reply cards---how did you word the accepts/decline?

I am still missing 25 resonses...and it seems unlikely that all 25 will appear in my mailbox in the next 2 days
You never know- people always respond at the last mitnute. You may get a majority of them on the last day. But yes, you'll have to chase down some deliquents.

My question is -- when you do one of these, what if it's Mr. John Smith and Guest and 'Guest' won't be attending?? How is he supposed to reply? Are they supposed to put check marks on those lines or numbers? If I don't know, I'm guessing alot of my guests won't either!!
Also if you add the
Number of persons attending _______
and don't write in the number, you run the risk of people adding on guests (you KNOW some people will).... and if you write it in say 2, then they have to cross it out and put 1 if their guest isn't attending!!
Does anyone know a way to solve all these issues in one RSVP card??

If it were me, I would just check off attending, but just write my name in the M_________
I think that conveys the message well.
