reply cards -- sent to your parents or you?

Original post by mka06

I live in another state than my parents and really want to see the replies as they come in! I live 6 hours away, so stopping by to get them isn't realyl an option. Mom doesn't care if they are sent to me (she said she understands I'd like to be able to open them), but for some reason I am feeling bad...

Should I have them sent to them bc it's traditional? or me?

they are sent to me - I would never trust my mother to keep track correctly.

I had them sent to me. FH and I are paying for the wedding mostly by ourselves.

Our response cards were sent to my parents' house. My mom is super organized and had a spreadsheet, etc. for everything. They also hosted the wedding.

i wanted them to sent to me, but I know my parents really wanted it to go to them, even though they never actually voiced their opinion, since they are hosting and my mom is VERY organized I decided to have them sent to her, but I know she will call me each day to let me know the numbers!

Mine were sent to FMIL because FH and I live in an apartment and mail would be mixed with the landlord. PS though so many responses were lost and came late. Sorry this may not be encouraging but I wish I should have gotten them sent here

I had my parents' return address printed on the invitation envelope, and had my address printed on the response card envelope. I figured that it was fine to have th response card addressed to me since it was obvious that my parents were extending the invitation.
