I think you should go for it. It sounds like a great chance to save some money and have your husband make more money. I know it can be a party scene over the summer but you're only talking about 2 months. I don't think your son will be in any danger. Think of it as a vacation!!

Will this person have his own apartment in the house, or just be living in a room in the house. If he were living in a room, I don;t think I would do it..I wouldn't feel comfortable..If he had his own apartment in the house I would think anout it because it is only two months...make sure he knows it is only for two months

Honestly, I would NOT do the Ocean Beach option because it sounds like you want stability. If you want to save money, why not live in his grandmother's apt.until you find a house you like? Sure OB could save you rent, but it can also be a pretty expensive place - the ferry tickets, groceries are more $, plus you won't really have provacy with this other guy. Follow what your gut tells you

Honey, go for it. If your instincts tell you to do it, just do it. Sometimes in life we have to just go for it. Being someone who usually does what is 'right' and what is 'smart', I can tell you that when I DO chance something that is iffy, I am usually happy, even if it doesn't work out. You're young! You will have a roof over your head, your husband with you, your baby with you. You will reap the benefits of living rent free, and honey, trust me, you can save A LOT. We have been living with my parents rent free for just about a month now, and already we've saved a ridiculous amount. I think as long as you have a plan for afterwards, you will be fine. If I told you the CRAZY things my parents did when they first had my sister and I, you would blush! They were nuts, but they had fun and they dealt. Good luck, my dear. It will be fine
