Repost: Any ideas as to how to make a wedding EXTRA memorable for guests?
I'm part of a whole group of friends who are getting married within months (in my case within weeks) of each other. So the majority of our guests will be at ALL the weddings............and we all just happened to want basically the same color scheme.
There isn't any viscious fighting between us or anything close to that....but my wedding just happens to be the last of the group and I'd like to do something special.......but within my teensy tiny budget.
Any ideas?

photobooth cigar roller steel drums at cocktail hour martini luge specialty drink to be served all night long... sparkler entrance or exit

I want my wedding to be memorable too, which bride doesn't right. SO I am thinking about including a fireworks show before/after the VH comes out or at the end of the reception to finish the night off.
We are having a Martini Bar so that will WOW our guest. I have never seen a MB at all of the weddings I have attended so hopefully with the ice slide and martini glasses that will be HOTTTTT.
I would want sparklers.
And I was thinking of a cigar roller, that is nice bec alot of guys would love to have a cig.
I want to decorate the Manor Room ceiling with tulle and white lights and have lighting effects all around the room becasue the outside is already lit up, that would look nice.

i like all of your ideas not sure about the fireworks - people want to dance and not be told where to go - JMO

Has anyone been to a wedding with a photobooth? I'd be afraid it would take away from the dancing.
I hired a percussionist to play with the DJ. I may also include a Sax player is the budget allows.

i thought fireworks would be a nice touch at the end of the night (so that it didnt take away from the event) but they are super $$$ and the regulations for fireworks depends on the place...i was reading on line that some places make u hire fire fighters and all that stuff and then u have to get extra insurance
but there is a place out east that does fireworks...forgot the name of the company...starting at 5k or 10k (i forget which)

i didnt really answer your question...oops!
things that are inexpensive but memorable can often be things that are personalized to the guests...perhaps like hand written notes or something meaningful about the couple...just anything that makes a guest feel appreciated
