Repost from 05' boards-rehearsal ?'s

FH and I are having our rehearsal Luncheon this Saturday March 5th, for our wedding the following weekend, March 12th.

When giving out your gifts to the BP, parents and so on.... do you just hand them out or do you say a little something about each person before giving them the gift that we bought them for being part of our day.????

any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

We just said that we would like to now hand out presents to everyone who has helped us along the way and who will make our wedding memorable.

My Dh stood up after dinner and thanked everyone for joining us and all their help, etc and I gave out the gifts.

I think we'll just give them out as we give our little 'thank you' speech.

I'm planning on saying a bit about each person. then again we are only having a MOH and a BM and three readers. I'm also pretty good at speaking in front of groups... I teach high school. If you do this keep each mini-speech very brief and don't have too many people.
