REPOST FROM 05: Father/Daughter and Mother/Son Dances - At the same time?
I know that traditionally, the father/daughter and mother/son dances happen seperately but the Michael and I are thinking of doing them at the same time for two reasons:
A) Michael does not like being the center of attention (Me neither) and this would help alleviate stress.
B) We thought it would look nice for both sets to dance together.
C) Get it over quicker for more fun with friends and family!
What do you all think???

I think that you should do whatever you and your FI are most comfortable with since it is your day and your celebration. I don't think there is anything wrong with doing them at the same time.

hey sounds like an awesome idea..im the same way..hate attention...i think ill def consider doing that....plus MORE DANCE TIME...for everyone else!!!

I feel the same way - I almost wish we could go to the ceremony - take our pics and then I could take off my gown and just party w/ everyone else.
