I went to a few stores today, but didn't like much. I don't want to spend to much money. Thanks, Nancy.

Have you gone to Commack Wedding center? They have a huge selection and are very fairly priced (The people working there aren't always the friendliest, but that really doesn't matter if you find the perfect dress)

I highly recommend Lidia's Bridal in Copiague, they are SO sweet there.

Also try:

Where did you go? What are you looking for?

I got mine at the Bridal Garden in Bethpage for under $600. It is by Jasmine.

RK has tons, but it can be overwhelming.
Take friends/family with you.

I loved Bridal Accents in East Hills, good selection, not that expensive, small store... very nice.

If you're not looking to spend too much, Kelinfelds may not be a good idea. Most of their dresses are on the pricey side, though some are more affordable. Have you tried David's Bridal?

Priscilla of Boston may still have some sample gowns to sell. Their samples are in pretty good shape and there are a range of sizes (6-12)
If you have time - wait for one of their sample sales(get on mailing list) and make the first appointment. They have awesome dresses and the sample prices are really low ($499+) on gowns that were $2500-$5000
