Repost from 08 Brides: Registering at Macy's

I had started registering this past weekend at BBB. While I was there, we were talking to another couple and we mentioned that we were planning to register at Macy's this coming weekend. We live on the Nassau/Queens border, so the nearby Macy's for us is Douglaston or Manhasset. They told us the only place you can do a registry for Macy's is the one at Roosevelt Field - is this true?

We're looking to do it at the closest Macy's to us, so I'm just wondering about the ones near us, not ones in Suffolk or the city. Roosevelt is nearby for us too, but I know it's just always hectic at the mall.

That is not true You can register at any Macy's They all have bridal registry You can also register online, but you won't get the goodies if you register online

The one in Roosevelt Field has more options to choose from. The smaller Macy's don't have as many

you can register at any macys that has the registry section....we registered at the one in manhasset, but found it to be very disorganized and didn't have a varied selection. The one at roosevelt might actually be better, especially if you go on a week day. have fun!
