Repost from 09 board: Vest and Ties for little boys???

Where can I find a vest and tie for my 4yr old son who is going to be our rb? I bought his suit from Syms but they didn't have the vests for his size. Can anyone tell me where i could go or maybe a website that carries them?

Ok i am having a he!! of a time finding a vest and tie for my son. MW doesn't sell them. You have to rent them and they want a rediculous amount. I went Burlington and they don't have them. Syms doesn't have them either (that's where I bought his suit from). I was looking on line and came across a few sites but they sell wholesale and you have to have a company account.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME!!!! I can't believe it's this hard to find these things for a little boy. I am going out of my mind

Do you remember which Burlington? I went to 2 the one in Massapequa and one in Rockaway (Five Town) and neither had them. At this point I'll just take the tie if I can't find the vest.

atias flea market in sayville has a booth when you walk in and make your first left after the snack stand and walk a bit its on your left hand side. She sells fg and rb stuff. They have vests and ties.

I was able to get a tie for my 3-year-old RB from Paradise Bridals in Patchogue. It matched the rest of the GMs.

try tri-county flea market on Hempstead Tpke or online; i got my nephew's tuxes from

www.shopbriarpatch.com - they might have vest/ties separately or you can call or email them and ask; the customer svc was great.

You dont have to get one specifically for a kid. They cut down ties, so you can buy a regular one. For our GM we bought all the guys their ties and didnt rent them along with the tuxes bc dh wanted Burberry ties and our RB wore the same one. Well they dont make one for kids and at the place we rented our tuxes from they told us they have a machine in the back to cut down ties for children and although we didnt rent a tie from them and bought it from somewhere else, they still offered to cut down his tie for us. So dont drive yourself crazy looking for ties specifically made for children. Buy a regular one and ask you tux shop if they can cut it down for you.
